Leadership Skills Training

Over the past 3 years, New Life Foundation has successfully conducted a series of leadership skills training for aspiring leaders – both young and old.  The highly successful EQUIP materials (developed by John Maxwell) were translated into Khmer and training is now deployed in both Khmer and English.  So far, approximately 1,000 people have been training using these resources. 

Our vision is to partner with both central & local government and educational establishments (public and private) to further make this training available across most of the provinces in Cambodia. 

NLF will also seek to expand the range and depth of these leadership courses wherever appropriate by relevant delivery models including internships, leadership camps, and “apprenticeship” type paradigms.  For example, NLF might also be looking at the provision of appropriate accommodation facilities to provide “safe havens” for individuals (e.g. poor students from the provinces coming to the city to seek employment or higher education) whereby leadership training can be provided in a very practical and “down-to-earth” manner.
