Life Band (Worship Team of New Life Fellowship)

Our worship team exists to serve the New Life Fellowship of churches and the body of Christ with the talents and abilities that God has given to each one of us. Romans 12:1 and 1 Peter 4:10 are key verses that remind us to be faithful stewards of the grace God has given to us by using our gifts for His glory. Our desire is that in everything we do it would be evident that we are a team who love God and love each other.

Our goal is two-fold;

Firstly, we exist to lead people into the presence of God. Secondly, we long to help believers discover and develop their God-given talents and abilities.

Over the past 6 years we have created and developed resources to help us reach this goal.  This includes things such as writing new songs and technical lessons, producing song covers and creating training videos.  We have been able to share these valuable resources throughout New Life churches and among other believers in Cambodia.  Social media platforms have become a valuable tool to help us spread these resources and this has made such an incredible impact for glorifying God during the last few years! We have a Facebook page that has more than 17K followers and our YouTube channel has more than 13K subscribers.

Our belief in Life Band is that God longs to restore the voice of His Cambodian children; and we have an important role to fulfill in that mission by providing resources for them to be able to turn away from worshiping idols and instead to worship the One true God!  As we see the need for Khmer Christian songs to be spread throughout Cambodia and made available to everyone so that they can worship the King of kings wherever they are, we hope it can be said of us that we are like that one child who went to Jesus with his lunch and then watched as Jesus multiplied the food and fed the five thousand men… We will give our gifts, resources and faith to Jesus and watch as He multiples His glory through worship in Cambodia!

We thank God that we have a great serving team who love to serve God’s people. We have 5 major teams: Singers, Sound team, Lighting team, Musician team and Dance team. We are so grateful that we have 90 volunteers who are committed to use their gifts to serve with a passionate and loving attitude toward the church.

Some of the financial costs to see this happen include purchasing quality audio and video recording equipment and up to date software, musical instruments and staff salary to help manage equipment, resources and training and developing new leaders.
